About MyHealthPEI

MyHealthPEI is a secure online service allows eligible Islanders with convenient, 24/7 access to components of their personal health information. Additionally, MyHealthPEI can be used as a tool to keep track of your health progress and personal health information. MyHealthPEI is an important step in PEI’s vision for offering Island residents online access to various government services.
MyHealthPEI is part of a larger initiative called MyPEI.  MyPEI acts like the front door of a house where, once inside, you can move from room to room depending on the services and information you want to access.  One of the many services – or rooms in the house – is MyHealthPEI.  You must first create a verified a MyPEI account to access MyHealthPEI.
Using MyHealthPEI is not mandatory! While there are many benefits to using MyHealthPEI, such as instant, on demand access to your personal health information, Island residents can choose when or if they decide to use it.  For those who choose not to use MyHealthPEI, you can access your health record as you always have from Health PEI by following these instructions:  Request health and medical record.

Having access to your personal health information empowers you to better manage your health, track your progress towards personal health goals, view your test results, have access to immunization records and have more informed discussions with an in -person or virtual healthcare provider.   Please Note: access to general lab results in MyHealthPEI will be available in January 2025.

MyHealthPEI will help you to:
1. Access components of your personal health record. Track and access your vaccinations, test results, and other reports day to day or in the event of a medical issue while travelling.
2. Track your health. Record and track progress toward your health goals, such as lowering your cholesterol level.
3. Make the most of visits to health care professionals. Be ready with questions you may have or information you want to share, such as blood pressure readings, since your last visit.
4. Manage your health between visits. Upload and track information from home-monitoring devices such as a smart watch and eventually devices such as a blood pressure cuff.

Yes! Eight other provinces currently provide access to personal health information online.
