MyPEI Pilot - Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I need to use my personal email address instead of my work email for this pilot?
Setting up your Basic MyPEI Account will be done in the live application, not a development or test environment. Because of this it is important to use your personal email address. The account you setup will be your MyPEI Account forever (unless you decide to delete your account which you can do at any time).
Do I need to also test accessing MyHealthPEI as part of this pilot?
Testing access to MyHealthPEI is recommended but not required. To have access to your health information you will need to verify your identity, which can be done online or by making an appointment for in-person verification at the Sullivan Building in Charlottetown, as outlined in your invitation email.
Where can I get in-person verification?
You can get in-person verification at various locations across the province.
Are all government services available during this pilot phase?
No. This pilot testing is focused on testing the account setup process and limited services. Additional services will be available as the MyPEI Account is rolled out in 2025.
