Yes! You can upload your activity, exercise, heart rate and other tracked information directly from select personal health devices within MyHealthPEI. You can find the list of eligible devices under My Settings --> My Connected Devices.

The eligible devices are limited initially, with Fitbit, Withings and Garmin being the first devices available to connect to MyHealthPEI. We will be expanding the list of devices in the near future to include Apple Health and Omron.

If you need assistance with finding the where in your MyHealthPEI profile to connect your wearable device, please contact our eHealth Support Desk at 1-833-734-1873 and select option 4.

If you choose to no longer have your device connected to MyHealthPEI, you can disconnect through My Settings --> My Connected Devices. Find the device you have connected and select “Disconnect”.
No. You need to log in to your device account when you first connect a device, but MyHealthPEI does not store your username or password. When your device is linked to your personal health information, you will not need to use your device’s username and password again.

You cannot edit data that you have uploaded to MyHealthPEI from a device. To make changes to your device data, you need to log in to your device account and make edits there, which may flow through to MyHealthPEI once you sync your device.

If you wish to delete data, you will need to delete this data from within MyHealthPEI directly. Deleting data on your device will not remove it from MyHealthPEI.

Each device provider has their own privacy policy, End User License Agreement or other terms of use. These terms govern your use of the third-party devices, connections, and associated software and may be changed by the third-party providers as needed.

Once the information from your wearable device has synched with your MyHealthPEI profile, it is safe, secure, and protected by provincial and federal data protection standards. However, MyHealthPEI cannot guarantee that third-party companies will be compliant with data privacy legislation or other specific laws and regulations.
